Fran Doidge B.Sc

Your body benefits from the specialist expertise of strong, sensitive hands and my passion for Remedial massage (sorts out muscles, tendons and joints) and aromatherapy (add the essential oils for both deep massage and relaxation) You are in safe hands ~  BSc in Physiology and Biochemistry (Reading) and an NHS laboratory biochemist and membership of the largest aromatherapy organisation in the UK. I can help you with whatever you present or know to whom I can refer.            Your first visit; From the initial consultation I understand your underlying health issues and create a treatment plan including probable length of treatment and any essential oils which are blended on the spot ~ you take the blend of essential oils home with you. You will be able to undress in privacy and will enjoy the warm towels and music (where requested).

I combine;
1) 20 years experience in massage, aromatherapy and healing
2) knowledge about your condition and presenting symptoms
3) my naturally caring, professional and confident nature          to give you an
in-depth treatment solution.

I encourage you to continue your treatment at home with helpful tips, exercises and simple massage instructions which you can use at home using the blend of essential oils provided.

combining science with sensitivity.

Every day I see great improvements by adding to the treatment  a combination of creative visualisation techniques (I promise you will find your own pictures) and positive statements which enhance the effects of the essential oils and  can empower you.  I also use these skills during the workshops which I run for you. My particular interest is how massage and aromatherapy balance the chemical messengers which are produced by the cells of your body and which fine tune your body’s many responses. These chemical messengers respond well to both visualisation and the essential oils as well.
You will experience a real feeling of relaxation, relief and ease ~ the opposite of dis-ease ~ within the body.  I've seen tremendous results with
M.E, with stubborn back, shoulder or wrist pain which other health professionals have not been able to shift and with confused emotional states when the emotions can be trapped within the body

My passion is to make available to the public a local high quality complementary health service. I am delighted that in the short space of five years we have developed into a team of dedicated practitioners who cover the full range of complementary skills, enabling each individual client to select the right blend of support for whatever life challenges occur; maintaining good health and wellbeing; whether you choose to work with us alongside your medical practitioner or whether you are happy to use complementary therapy exclusively.
I have always voluntarily given my time to my profession by sitting on national committees and was, until recently, involved in decision making and guidance at a national level as treasurer on the Council for the IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists)  which is involved in the creation of the Voluntary Statutory body for all complementary practitioners ~  the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is being launched in the summer of 2008.

Fran is :

  1. ITEC qualified A&P, remedial massage, aromatherapy
  2. A graduate member of the College of Healing (MCOH)
  3. Past treasurer and member of the IFPA (MIFPA)
  4. Physiology and Biochemistry graduate (BSc Reading)
  5. Past Chairman of the research and scientific sub-commitee of the Aromatherapy Organisations Coucil (AOC)
  6. Hospital Laboratory Biochemist.
  7. Trainer for Continuing Professinal Development (CPD), and has taught on the Foundation Degree in Complementary Health Therapies at the City of Bristol College.

Allison Prebble

Allison is dedicated to prevention as well as to alleviating the condition. She is able to help clients more effectively if each person commits to self-help and improving their health regime.

Allison works well with deep issues, identifying imbalances in the body by monitoring your ability to hold your muscles against light pressure "muscle testing", and advises you on any food intolerances. Allison also uses flower remedies which help balance emotions.

In a Kinesiology treatment the Allison uses the client’s muscles to give bio-feedback from the body about the cause of the problems being experienced and the solution to these.

Allison is a systematic Kinesiologist which means that for any one issue she checks all possible causes be they structural, biochemical (e.g. nutritional deficiencies, intolerances), emotional or energetic (e.g. dehydration).

For example if you have bloating, constipation or IBS and you’ve changed your diet but are still having symptoms then there could well be an underlying issues such as candida albicans that diet alone is not addressing.

Allison uses biochemical markers to establish causes and then tests for which supplements (e.g. vitamins, minerals, herbs) will start to eradicate the problem.

Allison has treated people as young as 2 months old and as mature as 86.

Kinesiology is all about balance, making sure that one of your organs isn’t working overtime to compensate for another that is under par.

As many conditions have an underlying biochemical imbalance, Allison  may well recommend you to take supplements for a few weeks as part of your treatment.

Kelda White MA (hons), LHC

Homeopath

Homeopathy changed my life so it seemed natural for me to train as a homeopath in order to help others.

Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic system of healing. The treatment focuses on you as an individual to help you through changes and imbalances in your life, restoring your body to health for long lasting benefits.

How does Homeopathy work? Homeopaths treat disease using very low dose preparations administered according to the principle that "like should be cured with like." Practitioners use highly diluted substances that would, if given undiluted to a healthy volunteer, cause the symptoms which the patient is experiencing. For example, the homeopathic remedy Apis is derived from bee sting. If someone is stung by a bee, they might expect an area of pink or red, painful swelling to occur. Apis can be used to treat similar symptoms in patients, in conditions such as oedema, bites or spots.                                        Homeopathy can be used to successfully treat almost anything from stress or depression to high blood pressure, allergies, period problems, giving up smoking and more.       Once initial health problems have been resolved through these regular appointments, I welcome patients on a low cost maintenance programme to deal with acute problems such as coughs, colds, toothache, headaches, period pains, upset stomachs, childhood illnesses, minor accidents, infections, exam nerves etc.

Ced Jackson

Ced has studied many healing techniques, both environmental, and personal.  He is a member of the Professional Register of both the British Society of Dowsers, and the Feng Shui Society.

Well being is influenced both by environmental factors, and also our personal history and constitution.  If a house does not provide a comfortable environment for its occupants, stress can result, perhaps resulting in poor quality sleep, and the lowering of resistance to external influences.

Changes can be made which can improve the situation, using techniques which relieve stress, and allow the energy in the property ~ and the person ~ to flow more easily.

Home consultations are available, during which your property would be checked for detrimental influences, and subsequently cleared of these problems by a combination of dowsing, Feng Shui and related approaches.  Consultations can often last between two and four hours, due to the range of material covered.  Fees for such a consultation in the Malvern area are around £150 for a typical home.

Ced has written a number of articles on these subjects, several of which can be viewed on his website at www.FengShuiFutures.com

In the local area, Ced has established Malvern Dowsers, a voluntary group where people can learn to dowse and explore their interest in dowsing and healing.  Details of forthcoming events are on the web at www.MalvernDowsers.org

Though Ced is a therapist linked to the Centre for Well Being, he usually works by visiting your home, and therefore is not normally present at the Centre.  He can however be contacted via the Centre, or directly by phoning 01684 560265, or emailing Ced@FengShuiFutures.com

"I could not believe so much could have changed thanks to my crystal therapy"

"I feel like I have been given a new lease of life"

Depression anxiety stress related conditions low self esteem, exhaustion

My special field is mental health (cognitive, behavioural  emotional and physical) I worked for 18 years in mental health and social care and have studied psychology and depression. Helping my own son brought me to crystal therapy. The deep insight I gained is integral to my work now as a therapist.

The consultation itself sometimes acts as a catalyst to bring about profound change. The energetics of the crystals which I select enable you to to release outmoded ways of behaviour or gain a deep insight into the cause of the problem.

While you lie comfortably on the couch fully clothed, sometimes listening to relaxing music, the most appropriate crystals are placed on and around your body and you are taken through a relaxation routine. As you relax the crystals do their work.
